We are looking to recruit a Freelance sample machinist to assist in our busy Head Office Pattern Room, 3-5 days per week.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled sample machinist to work in our busy Head Office Pattern Room. Working across multiple products for our womens, mens and kidswear teams, you will use your skills to produce samples to the highest quality and finish. Working with multiple fabrics you will liaise with pattern cutters and use problem solving skills to create accurate, production‑ready first samples.
What You'll Take On
* Create high‑quality samples in good time for selection meetings and design presentations.
* Communicate with pattern cutters and garment technologists on correct garment makeup.
* Daily maintenance of machinery to ensure it is in good working order.
What You'll Bring
* Able to use different industrial machinery to produce high‑quality finished products.
* Experience in jersey and woven, including tailoring.
* Cutting skills across multiple fabrics.
* Time management to effectively meet deadlines and manage workload.
