The Role: As Project Manager, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to bring water and wastewater infrastructure projects from design through to construction, commissioning, and handover to the client. Leading all areas of Civil, Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) Engineering scope of works on the project, or series of smaller projects, you will be involved in all day-to-day aspects of delivery including programme management, commercial management, and HSQE development and awareness.
You will lead in a one-team culture while actively contributing to your own skills and experience. Your role will be key in supporting the Contracts Manager to achieve project outcomes. Due to the nature of Glanua's work, you will witness a wide variety of multi-disciplinary engineering activities and have opportunities to develop specialized knowledge and progress your career, with various paths available.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team in delivering projects, embracing a “one team” ethos.
* Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards and policies on-site.
* Promote a positive Health and Safety culture within the team.
* Collaborate with all key stakeholders including clients and third-party agencies.
* Ensure a positive client experience through collaboration and cooperation.
* Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and to high standards.
* Manage project documentation, including PSDP and PSCS roles, and conduct safety inspections.
* Apply best practice project management techniques such as Lean Construction and Last Planner.
* Monitor project performance, mitigate risks, and manage opportunities.
* Report monthly project performance against programme, budget, and HSQE metrics.
* Oversee procurement, manage cash flow, and ensure timely payments.
* Train, mentor, and develop team members, and participate in resource management and recruitment.
* Assist in tendering for upcoming projects and address client/stakeholder feedback.
* Continuously improve project delivery processes and stay updated through CPD.
* Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in water and wastewater.
* Ability to work under pressure and engage with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in negotiations.
* Proficiency with programme management software like Microsoft Project.
* Problem-solving skills and initiative.
* Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
* Strong communication skills and motivation.
