Business Analyst – CRM Transformation – Newcastle
12 month fixed term contract
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to play a key role in the selection and implementation of a new CRM platform, while helping modernise business systems across a commercially focused organisation.
You’ll act as the bridge between IT and Commercial teams (Sales, BD, Marketing)—translating operational needs into practical technical solutions that improve how the business works.
This is a hands-on transformation role, ideal for someone who enjoys analysing legacy systems, improving processes, and delivering meaningful system change.
What you’ll be doing
* Analysing existing CRM and business systems (on-prem and cloud)
* Gathering requirements and producing clear documentation and process maps
* Supporting the selection and implementation of a new CRM platform
* Acting as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams
* Supporting configuration, testing, training and rollout of new systems
* Identifying opportunities for automation, reporting and process improvement
* Working with external technology partners to deliver solutions
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a Business or Systems Analyst
* Experience working across technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills
* Experience delivering projects in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
* Knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce experience a plus)
Nice to have
* Experience with Power BI or reporting tools
* Exposure to data integrations, workflow automation, or SQL
* Familiarity with SharePoint or enterprise collaboration tools
* Experience in engineering, manufacturing or regulated industries

* Flexible working with occasional out-of-hours implementation work
* Remote access capability when required
* Ability to obtain security clearance due to the nature of the work
