We are looking for a Senior Pricing Actuary (m/f/d), based in London.
Your Team
Led by the Head of Portfolio Steering & Pricing ART, you will be part of a lively and diverse group of 14 skilled professionals, including actuaries, business and cat analysts. We are based in Munich, London, New York, and Zurich.
Impact You Will Have
As a Senior Pricing Actuary in our Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) Line of Business, you will be instrumental in creating innovative, bespoke insurance solutions for corporate clients. Your expertise in technical pricing, risk modeling, coding, and data analytics will directly influence the success of our business and our team. Driving the development of our pricing and portfolio steering framework will ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Underwriters, Cat Analysts, and legal experts to craft innovative policies and explore exciting business opportunities across all ART regions and business segments.
* Be responsible for the technical case pricing of new deals, quantitative risk analyses, peer reviews, and model documentation.
* Enhance ART's advanced pricing tools and drive their integration with Allianz Commercial platforms, ensuring seamless data connectivity and usability.
* Further develop and maintain ART's portfolio steering framework, create automated portfolio reports to support informed decision making.
* Leverage your skills in Python, SQL, and AI tools to lead and contribute to impactful data‑driven projects.
* Liaise with the Global Pricing, Global Portfolio Steering, Actuarial, Risk Management and other global functions to stay on top of topics relevant for ART.
Qualifications
* Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and be a qualified (or nearly qualified) actuary.
* Have at least 5–7 years of relevant experience in the (re)insurance or financial sector, particularly in pricing.
* Possess strong actuarial and data analytics skills, and enjoy coding in Python and SQL.
* Be familiar with Power BI and, ideally, with Databricks.
* Have excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
* Have proven experience in project steering, with the ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
* Demonstrate problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
* Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision‑making is highly beneficial.
