Multi-Trade Operative Permanent | £15 per hour | Local Work
We’re recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative for a small, family-run property services company with a 5-star customer rating. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability, progression, and fully local work.
The Role
1. Wall and floor tiling (kitchens and bathrooms – large part of upcoming work)
2. Kitchen and bathroom installs
3. General property maintenance and handyman works
4. Basic plumbing, joinery, patch plastering, decorating
5. Repairs, snagging, small refurb works
6. Occasional external and basic landscaping tasks
You’ll work both alone and as part of a team.
This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and good communication are essential.
Requirements
7. Proven multi-trade experience
8. Strong tiling background is essential
9. Housing or property maintenance experience
10. Comfortable working independently and in a team
11. Own tools
12. Full UK driving licence required
Hours, Pay & Travel
13. £15 per hour
14. 40 hours per week, with some weeks up to 48 hours
15. All additional hours paid
16. Paid weekly, one week in hand
17. 8am start, meeting daily at the unit
18. Fully local work, no travel beyond Scarborough
19. Company van provided initially, with a view to getting your own van in future
