Job Title : Operational Excellence Undergraduate Internship 2026 Work Schedule: Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR With Headquarters in the US and a global reach, Moog Inc. is a world-leading integrator of precision motion control systems for aerospace, defence, industrial and medical applications. This Internship is available at our Wolverhampton facility within our Aircraft Group, which focuses on the design, test, and manufacture of our high-spec primary and secondary flight control actuation products which are used on both Commercial and Military aircraft. We strive to foster a close relationship with our Interns from day one so that they can return to the business where possible as a member of our Graduate Programme. Operational Excellence Our Operational Excellence (OpEx) team helps the site build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement, so that “everyone is improving everything, every day”. We partner with teams across the business to support achieving the site strategy, by training, coaching, and embedding practical problem‑solving skills, encouraging the design of “right‑first‑time” solutions, and driving process quality improvements to make work safer, faster, and less wasteful. We’re people‑focused with a bias for data, working with all areas of the site to influence and empower others to adopt new ways of working, continually solve problems and get real, sustained results. As an intern you’ll typically work with our shop-floor teams and engineers to gather data, run experiments, and jointly solve problems that save time and money. You’ll be exposed to many parts of the business, and have chance grow your technical, practical, and people skills. If you enjoy teamwork, learning new skills and making a real impact whilst also helping others, OpEx is the place to grow, try ideas, and make a real and lasting difference. You might be studying an engineering, manufacturing or another STEM subject, equally this role may suit someone studying Business Studies. You're the sort of person who has a willingness to go out and try different things! The selection stages include attendance at an assessment centre and a 60-minute Team's interview. All placements are available to penultimate/final year students and the paid internships will start between August and September 2026, for a duration of 12 months. Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
