Repairs Support Officer
Full-time (37 Hours) – Maternity Leave Cover
Temporary for 9 months with possible extension to 12 months
Grade A2 - £26,403 – £28,142 per annum
North Kesteven District Council is seeking an experienced professional to join the Repairs and Planned Maintenance team; This post puts you at the heart of a busy and varied department which is critical in the efficient and effective delivery of the Council’s wide-ranging services.
Job Requirements
* Prior work-related experience in social housing.
* Numeracy, literacy and IT skills. (Microsoft Word, Excel)
* Good and effective telephone manner, with the ability to simultaneously transcribe.
* Good team working skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for the Repairs Team when dealing with contractors, colleagues and customers.
* Ensure relevant bespoke IT systems are maintained and updated daily including damp and mould reports.
* Be responsible for the processing of invoices for contractors through to payment on the council’s financial IT system.
* Assist other team members and colleagues where required with any other administrative works deemed necessary.
* Undertake routine financial and data processing, including raising orders and requisitions.
