Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join a Building & Infrastructure Team. This role will be based in the Galway office and is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in delivering complex projects. A Level 8 qualification in Engineering or a related field is required, with a Project Management-specific qualification considered advantageous. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the technical and financial delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
Requirements:
* Level 8 qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
* 5 to 10 years of relevant project management experience.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and quality standards (QMS/EMS/OHSAS).
* Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and invoicing.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in construction contracts and consultancy engagement conditions.
* Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, managing time, scope, and resources.
* Ensure compliance with quality management systems and health and safety regulations.
* Manage project financials, including cash flow forecasting, invoicing, and debt management.
* Maintain clear communication channels with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
* Ensure all project designs are prepared by competent personnel and independently checked.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Drive the adoption of innovative project management strategies, enhancing operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine project management frameworks and processes.
