About GE Aerospace

GE Aerospace advances aviation technologies for today and tomorrow. Your work will contribute to the production of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems that power commercial and military aircraft. You'll be part of a team that embraces your drive, curiosity, and your unique ideas and perspectives.

Engineering

Engineering is at the centre of what we do, and we are looking for talented, innovative engineers who can help us design and develop products for today, tomorrow, and in the future. If you are a dreamer, doer, and inventor who wants your voice to be heard, this is the opportunity for you.

Roles and Responsibilities

In the 12-month Electrical & Electronic Engineering Placement, you''ll gain invaluable skills and experience within the Test System Department or Electronic Hardware Department.

The Test System Department designs and develops state of the art custom test hardware and software, test harnesses and documentation for all up-and-coming avionics products being designed and built within our facility. You will work closely with third party manufacturing houses to produce TE to our requirements. We also design and manufacture a variety of smaller test boxes, breakout boxes and test cables to support NPI development.

Within Electronic Hardware Department you''ll apply your digital and analogue knowledge to active projects and gain invaluable skills and experience in design and development activities related to power distribution and control products.

You will be guided by structured goals and objectives with responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.

These opportunities are offered at our Cheltenham site.
