What You'll Be Doing
Within the Construction environment, you will be involved in buying materials, managing large projects, ensuring health and safety, and providing customer service. Our work spans approximately 400 developments across towns and rural areas in the UK, presenting unique challenges in every site – from brownfield redevelopment to adapting existing buildings such as old factories or disused hospitals.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will support site management, learning key aspects of construction operations. All activities support the delivery of targets in health and safety, quality, customer care, and cost.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance on site with company health and safety standards, NHBC standards, building regulations, and quality expectations.
* Report to the Site Manager any matters that could affect health and safety, quality, customer care, or cost.
* Coordinate with internal departments, external suppliers, and partners to achieve the build programme.
* Monitor material levels to maintain sufficient stock, ensuring programme delivery and efficient use of labour.
* Maintain high-quality building standards and overall site presentation.
* Report defects on IFix as required.
* Model good behaviour in health and safety, organisation, conduct, work quality, and professionalism.
