Our client in Newton Aycliffe is looking for a Customer Service Order Processor to join their team temporarily for 6 months. The purpose of the position is to support the Customer Service & After Sales Team, with the successful candidate coordinating day to day operations and ensuring business response times are met. Responsibilities/Key Tasks will include: Actioning orders and queries (24 hours, Credits 72 hours) Completing order processing - using Electronic Ordering (EDI) Coordinating the customer orderbook - On Time In Full (OTIF) Answering day-to-day queries from both customers and the warehouse. These may be stock related, regarding bookings or relevant to supplier portals Coordinating the investigation and corrective actions relating to credits Maintaining systems and price files Providing support to the Consumer Brands and the Free Onboard Business (FOB) business during peak season Answering calls from retailers, garden centres and dealers. Skills/Qualifications Required: Experience with order processing systems (ERP) (e.g. PRMS / REX) Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel The successful candidate will have experience in a supply chain environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite of this position, both internal and external This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Gem Partnership Ltd who are operating as an employment business.
