Senior Authorised Person HV Electrical Fitter

About the Role
As a Senior Authorised (SAP) HV Electrical Fitter you will be joining an award winning business and working on numerous client sites maintaining Transformers and Switchgear projects across the UK. This is an important role within our growing Power division here at Ipsum, you will ensure that we are compliance with HV safety rules and procedures at all time and undertake the necessary SAP approved training together with refreshed to ensure your kept up to date with industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
* Work on HV, LV, Transformers, Switchgear and Associated Equipment.
* Carry out service / remedial works on equipment.
* Write up detailed quality reports, daily site reports, carry out electrical testing / fault finding and mechanical modifications and repairs.
* Perform routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) to a manufacturer’s standard.
* Proactively report faults to equipment and test LV protection; type up accurate reports of results.
* Install HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturers’ standards.
About You
* A thorough understanding of Electrical Power Systems up to 33kV and experience as a HV Electrical Fitter.
* Ability to work to a high standard of work, both independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence and eligibility for a CTC clearance and DBS check.
