Overview
Consultant Psychiatrist - Low Secure Forensic Service role at Transskribo in York. The service is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in forensic psychiatry to work within the low secure male mental illness inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient community service in York.
The service is open to part-time and flexible working. The final programme of activities will be worked out with the post holder on a ratio of 7.5 direct clinical care to 2.5 supporting professional activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality patient care in a low secure forensic setting (inpatient and outpatient).
* Participate in the care of male patients with mental illness in rehabilitation.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
* Contribute to service development and improvement.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience in forensic psychiatry.
* Eligibility to practice in the UK and meet Trust sponsorship/Home Office visa requirements if applicable.
* Willingness to engage in a ratio of 7.5 direct clinical care to 2.5 supporting professional activities.
