Support Worker
Location: The Lighthouse, Stroud, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
Pay rate: £13.60 per hour
Shift: Night shift - 21:30 - 07:30. Weekend work included.
The Lighthouse is a 5-bed specialist residential home for young people aged 13-18 with complex mental health issues and associated risk-taking behaviors. The clients and staff are part of therapeutic and care services run by the Priory health division.
Our aim at The Lighthouse is to ensure that the young people we support have the best residential experience in a therapeutic and homely environment. Care is tailored to meet individual needs to promote positive outcomes for their future.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise young people displaying a range of behaviors related to mental health and trauma.
* Participate in activities and engage with young people within their daily routines and around the home.
* Ensure educational needs of the young people are met.

The Lighthouse provides 24/7 support for young females aged 13-18, offering a unique package of care within a large detached house near Stroud Town Centre. We maintain a high care ratio to proactively manage risks while supporting engagement with community activities.

Roles are available on full or part-time basis with various shift patterns, including weekdays and weekends.
