Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and commercially aware professional to support our procurement and energy contracts team. This role combines advanced administrative skills with an understanding of commercial processes, ensuring the smooth management of tenders, supplier interactions, and contract documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain supplier and contract documentation accurately.
* Support tendering processes by preparing documents, tracking deadlines, and liaising with stakeholders.
* Analyse data from suppliers and provide summaries to support decision‑making.
* Assist in reporting on commercial performance, pricing, and contract compliance.
* Coordinate communications between internal teams and external suppliers.
Your Experience
This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Administrator with at least 12 months of experience in a similar role within the energy or utilities sector. The successful candidate will bring a proactive attitude and a strong commercial mindset, and demonstrate the following qualities:
* Proven experience as an administrator, ideally in procurement, finance or commercial departments.
* Commercial awareness, understanding of budgets, cost control or supplier management.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, compare, and interpret tender results.
* Confident communication skills when liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools used for data analysis and reporting.
