St Petrocs, a residential care home in Bodmin, is looking for a Maintenance Person to work 30 hours per week. The Maintenance Person performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair duties including preventative, emergency, cosmetic and routine maintenance for the care home. The nature of the work requires physical effort and problem solving in performing tasks. Main responsibilities include: Repairs Painting/decorating Plumbing Electrical repairs Plastering Clearing drains Test fire alarms and emergency lights Some gardening and exterior work You will also be required to read and write reports, take part in care team meetings and in training activities as directed. You should have good experience of general DIY including basic carpentry, painting and decorating. Ideally, two years' experience in a similar role.
