Job Title: Credit Controller (Part-Time, Temporary)
Salary: £14 per hour
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Part-time
Working Pattern: 2 days per week (flexible to suit, ideally Monday/Wednesday or Thursday).
Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Controller/Admin Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 12 weeks. This flexible, part-time position offers the opportunity to mainly to take ownership of the credit control function, ensuring outstanding debts are collected efficiently while maintaining positive customer relationships along with other duties around Sales Invoicing and Purchase Invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining the sales ledger.Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email.Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payment.Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.Producing aged debt reports and escalating overdue accounts where necessary.Working with NHS trust and other software to upload and chase invoicesProcessing account information accurately using Sage 50 Accounts.Supporting the Business Manager with general administration as required.Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.Processing of Sales Invoices and communicating with warehouse in the relation to the despatch of orders.The Successful Candidate:
Previous experience in a Credit Control role is essential.Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage workloads effectively and work independently.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Professional and confident approach when dealing with customers.Available to commit to a temporary assignment of at least 12 weeks.
