A market leader in developing Fiber-Optic products, is now looking for a highly motivated Graduate to join their R&D team.
Having studied Physics / Optics and / or Mechanical Engineering, you will bring your experience in Optics and Mechanical to support the R&D team in the design, testing, and development of advanced fiber-optic components.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in optical technologies, precision mechanical design, and product development within a fast-growing high-tech environment.
Your main responsibilities will be to support the design, development, and validation of fiber-optic components and assemblies; and conduct optical, mechanical, and environmental testing using industry-standard equipment (e.g., interferometers, optical power meters, pressure testers).
Working with the R&D Team, you will assist in process development and building of prototypes, running experiments, collecting data, and documenting results.
Working closely with manufacturing, quality, and the product teams you will support new product introduction (NPI).
Now is an exciting time to join a technology company, who is offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge optical technologies and a skilled and happy engineering team.
In addition to a competitive salary & benefits package, my client offers mentorship and structured development for early-career engineers, plus career progression into optical engineering, product development, or manufacturing engineering roles.
