About the Role
Purpose of the Role
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating and qualifying new sales leads to support the business development team. This is a target-driven role that requires a proactive approach to research, outreach, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients and target markets to build a strong pipeline of prospects.
* Outreach: Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media engagement, to initiate contact with decision-makers.
* Lead Qualification: Evaluate potential leads based on defined criteria to ensure they are a good fit for Occy demonstrations.
* Pipeline Management: Log and track all sales activities and customer information accurately in the CRM system to maintain a clean and organised sales pipeline.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and provide feedback on outreach strategies.
* Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Occy's features, benefits, and competitive differentiators to effectively communicate its value to prospects.
Essential Skills
Skills and Experience
* Required: ○ Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.
* Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
* A high level of resilience and a positive, persistent attitude.
* Must have your own reliable equipment, including a laptop/computer, headset, and stable internet connection.
Desired:
* Previous experience in a sales, lead generation, or telemarketing role.
* Experience working in a B2B sales environment, particularly with SaaS products.
* Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Number of outbound calls/emails per day.
* Number of qualified leads generated per month.
* Number of demos booked per month.
* Conversion rate of leads to demos
