The role will be working with the Radar Live product; a flagship industry-critical on-prem and SaaS product delivering insurance quotes to the market.
The Software QA Lead is an integral part of the team at WTW. This role is responsible for driving and monitoring QA process within the team and ensuring the products being developed are delivered to the highest standards expected by WTW.
The role includes working closely with developers, QA engineers and product owners to ensure that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
The role also involves coaching and mentoring other team members on quality practices and frameworks. The candidate should have a good knowledge and awareness of industry trends.
The Role
1. Defining, driving and improving QA Strategy and testing processes for a business-critical enterprise
product.
2. Supporting across multiple workstreams including product development and SaaS platform delivery
3. Align closely with Head of QA and other QA Leads to ensure alignment with ICT standards
4. Coach and mentor team on best test practices
5. Deliver effective communication on levels of quality and risks to the business to stakeholders
6. Ensure that the team have the right level of test coverage for the product including functional and non-functional tests Identify gaps in testing and propose suggestions
7. Build, maintain and improve test frameworks
8. Write test code as production quality code
9. Develop and execute test cases and scripts for both manual and automated tests
10. Setup and drive exploratory testing sessions
11. Be a leader in driving a culture of quality into the team
12. Become a trusted authority within the team on QA and test automation matters.
