Connex Education is partnering with a Primary School in Birkenhead to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work across EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) starting in January. In this role you will provide general classroom support and help facilitate learning through play and structured activities, while supporting small groups of children and individuals to access the EYFS curriculum. We are seeking a reliable, proactive individual with experience in supporting young learners and confident in fostering early development in communication, social skills and foundational learning.

Assignment Details
This role runs Monday to Friday (8:30am–3:30pm). The position starts in January and is likely to continue long term for the right person, offering ongoing support to the EYFS team and contributing to children’s early learning experiences.

Person Specification
Qualifications
7. A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
8. GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
9. Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
