JOB SUMMARY* An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the A220 Wing Engineering team in Belfast. You will be joining a collaborative team of structural engineers, technical specialists and engineering leads, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for Airbus Wing products. Join us in building a flexible, future-ready workforce prepared to shape the next generation of Airbus Wing projects. *HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM* * Lead the technical scope of F&DT projects, providing guidance to engineers and suppliers, and liaising with key stakeholders including Chief Engineers and Technical Authorities. * Define and update certification methods for Outer Wing structures, ensuring compliance and innovation. * Approve F&DT deliverables and resolve technical issues using appropriate analysis techniques. * Act as a focal point for Wing-related F&DT matters across engineering and airworthiness teams. * Support the development of team members and contribute to the modernisation and digital transformation of our products and processes. *ABOUT YOU* * Experienced in structural engineering with a strong background in fatigue and damage tolerance Analysis. * Solid understanding of aircraft structural design principles and analytical techniques. * F&DT analysis approval is desirable. * Clear and adaptable communicator, able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and * stakeholders. * Proactive and innovative, with the ability to step back and propose new ideas. * Fluent in English; additional languages and cross-cultural experience are beneficial. * Committed to acting with integrity, supporting Airbus' values and long-term success. *SP-TRA LI-AB1* This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
