Responsible for running, introducing and maintaining equipment together with the development of continuous improvement ideas, and facilitation of these through a number of Lean Manufacturing areas to deliver improvements across the factory. Your responsibilities will include: Delivery of planned/predictive maintenance across all production lines and process areas Facilitation of Continuous Improvement of cross functional teams using a combination of tools and techniques such as TPM, RCM, FMECA, 5s and Kaizen events Identification and implementation of improvement ideas to achieve world-class standards relating to OEE, Food Safety, H&S and Quality measurements Optimisation of equipment, addressing both chronic and sporadic issues to reduce losses in efficiency and waste Supporting the development of production operators in first line maintenance and problem-solving Adherence to H&S procedures and legislation Full job description available on request REQUIRED SKILLS Preferably qualified to HNC/HND level with electrical awareness (18 th edition); however, candidates with a full Engineering Apprenticeship will be considered Proven quality awareness, decision making and problem-solving skills Previous experience working in a similar environment A good working knowledge and understanding of factory processes and technology Proven ability to plan and prioritize workload in order to meet required deadlines and performance standards Communication and interpersonal skills through cross functional teams and departments. Initiative, self-motivated, assertive, tenacious, well organised, with influencing skills. Team worker.
