Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a supportive and rewarding short-term post after Easter? Hays Education is working with a values-driven primary school in the Willenhall area that is seeking a dedicated Year 5 teacher to cover a period of staff sickness until May half term.

The Role
1. You will take responsibility for teaching a well behaved and enthusiastic Year 5 class.
2. Planning is alreadypleted — you’ll simply be able to adapt and deliver it in your own style.
3. You’ll be supported by a friendly team, approachable leadership, and strong KS2 colleagues.
4. The role involves full teaching responsibilities, including classroom delivery, assessment for learning and maintaining a positive, engaging learning environment.
What We’re Looking ForTo be considered, you must have:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
6. Proven experience teaching KS2, ideally Upper KS2
7. Strong classroom management and the ability to build rapport quickly
8. A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness toplete a new DBS application through Hays
9. A proactive, flexible andmitted approach to teaching
