With a goal to delight customers and consumers this continually growing food business work closely with the major retailers and are now seeking a Product Developer to join their dedicated team on a 12 Month Contract.
Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Developer to join a vibrant business where you’ll work closely with the Development Chefs and Process teams on key projects, contributing to the development of new concepts and updating existing products in line with customer briefs.
This multifaceted role will involve working closely with suppliers, building strong rapport with key contacts and managing resources to ensure the consistently flawless creation of product ranges. You will ensure the highest quality at all stages of the process, calculating nutritional data and product feasibility, as well as being mindful of costings and technical requirements.
You'll enjoy the challenge of keeping one step ahead of your competitors, researching seasonal food trends and undertaking competitor analysis whilst benchmarking in order to bring a high level of innovation to fast moving categories.
The Person
We are seeking an ambitious and creative Product Developer looking for a dynamic and fast paced role within the chilled and frozen food sector, working as part of the innovations teams, in partnership with the major retailers.
You'll have a food science or related degree, experience within food manufacturing and are passionate about food, consumer trends and ingredients. You'll understand NPD and enjoy working in the development kitchen with development chefs to create amazing products for your customers.
You must have excellent communication and organisation skills coupled with the ability and enthusiasm to learn quickly and get started on new projects.
