Jark Cambridge are proud to representing a well-established mechanical services firm based Colchester, who specialise in delivering high-quality air conditioning and HVAC projects across East Anglia and London. Their reputation is built on technical excellence, reliability, and long-term client relationships. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Project Manager to join their team and lead projects from concept through to completion.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing air conditioning installation projects of varying sizes, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with clients, engineers, and subcontractors, overseeing all technical and commercial aspects of each job.
Key Responsibilities
•Manage multiple air conditioning projects across East Anglia and London
•Oversee design, procurement, installation, and commissioning stages
•Prepare and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plans
•Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
•Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance
•Attend site meetings and produce project documentation and reports
•Support estimating and tendering processes where required
About You
•Proven experience as a Project Manager within the air conditioning or wider HVAC/mechanical services sector
•Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, split, chilled water, etc.)
•Excellent organisational and communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Full UK driving licence (travel required across East Anglia and London)
•Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., F-Gas, SMSTS, HNC/HND in Building Services or equivalent) preferred
