About the Role: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a 4-day-a-week arrangement to offer you some flexibility. You will be responsible for teaching either a Year 4 or Year 5 class, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils. Key Responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum. Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment. Assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods as needed. Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support pupil development. Maintaining accurate records of pupil attendance, progress, and behaviour. Upholding the school's values and contributing positively to the school community. What we're looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 or Year 5 experience highly desirable). A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills. A commitment to creating a nurturing and inspiring learning atmosphere. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt and be flexible to the needs of the school and its pupils.
