Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers an opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development in challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will build and enhance relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service and ensuring high customer satisfaction by acting as a bridge between the engineering team and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk within Telent.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Train internal engineering staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.
* Maintain awareness of all customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
* Highlight trends, security threats, or technical bulletins impacting customers.
* Ensure all documentation and technical information related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services are accurate and up-to-date.
* Adhere to internal and external processes regarding task allocation, completion, reporting, and change management.
* Assist with Proof of Concept scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Create and review technical documentation such as TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW.
* Assist in the pre-staging of equipment for customer sites and participate in customer meetings.
* Ensure accurate timesheet submissions and compliance with GDPR and security policies.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux exposure, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in a support environment, with on-premise Cloud Services experience being advantageous.
* Certifications such as MCSA, VMware, or LPIC-2 are desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of Networking, SQL Server, Azure MFA, and other relevant technologies is required.
* Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential.
