About the Role
We are seeking talented and motivated Mechanical / Automotive Engineers to join our engineering team. You’ll play a key role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and automotive components used in our products and fleet. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects in a dynamic environment, using the latest technologies and engineering methods to drive innovation and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and improve mechanical or automotive systems, components, and assemblies.
* Perform diagnostics, testing, and validation of systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
* Produce technical drawings, documentation, and reports.
* Support production, maintenance, and project teams with engineering expertise.
* Identify and resolve mechanical or design‑related issues using root cause analysis.
* Collaborate with other engineers, suppliers, and departments to meet project goals.
* Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
* Continuously seek process and performance improvements.
Requirements
* Degree or HND in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline.
* Experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or vehicle systems (automotive or HGV experience beneficial).
* Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
* Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical principles.
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
