We are seeking a patient, empathetic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Streatham, starting as soon as possible. The Role As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs. Your responsibilities may include one-to-one or small group support, assisting pupils in lessons, and helping them develop independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours. You will monitor and record pupil progress, provide feedback to teachers, and help implement interventions designed to meet individual needs. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external professionals is essential to ensure consistent support for all pupils.
