Description
Reporting to the UKI Marketing Manager, this role supports the delivery of strategic, data-driven
marketing activity to grow the customer base and strengthen Achilles’ market presence in the UK
and Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, ambitious marketer looking to take ownership of
campaigns and digital channels, while learning from an experienced team in a fast-paced
environment.
You’ll work closely with sales, product, and content teams to execute multi-channel campaigns,
manage social media, coordinate events, and help drive high-quality leads through Account-Based
Marketing (ABM) initiatives. You’ll also play a hands-on role in campaign planning and reporting,
contributing to real commercial outcomes.
This role is based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire with a hybrid working model Key Responsibilities• Campaign delivery: Support the planning, execution, and optimisation of integrated
marketing campaigns targeting key industry sectors and accounts across the UKI region.
• Strategic content marketing: Collaborate with internal experts to create engaging, onbrand content aligned to campaign goals and SEO performance.
• Social media: Take ownership of Achilles’ UKI social media calendar and content delivery,
working to grow awareness, engagement, and traffic.
• Events: Support the delivery of in-person and virtual events including Achilles Live
roundtables, conferences, and webinars.
• Marketing operations: Maintain campaign performance data in HubSpot, support database
hygiene, and create reports that inform strategic decisions.
• Budget and project management: Deliver activity on time and within budget, coordinating
with suppliers and agencies where needed. QualificationsMarketing experience Person SpecificationWe’re open to applicants at different experience levels, whether you’re a recent marketing graduate
with relevant work experience (e.g. internship, placement, part-time role), or a more experienced
Marketing Executive with 1–2 years in a similar B2B role.
What matters most is your drive to learn, ability to think both strategically and tactically, and a
genuine interest in contributing to campaigns that make a commercial and sustainability impact.
ESSENTIAL
• A motivated self-starter with a genuine interest in marketing strategy and campaign
performance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams
• A curiosity to learn, take feedback, and apply new skills quickly
DESIRABLE
• Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM/automation platform.
• Familiarity with WordPress or basic web editing tools
• Knowledge of Adobe creative suite (photoshop, InDesign, illustrator)
• An understanding of b2b marketing and account-based marketing
• Previous experience working in a regulated, ESG or sustainability-focused industry
