Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Supervisor located in Lewes. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction sites, managing teams, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and coordinating with key stakeholders. The role involves monitoring project progress, solving on-site issues, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and maintaining high-quality standards in all deliverables. Effective communication and leadership are essential to succeeding in this role.
Qualifications
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse group of workers.
Strong knowledge of construction processes in utility, energy, or civil engineering sectors.
Understanding of health and safety regulations, with the ability to enforce safety guidelines on-site.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to monitor project progress and resolve logistical or technical issues.
Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in Lewes and effectively manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects.
Experience in water, energy, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
Holds relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or related disciplines.
