Customer Service & Operations Assistant -Wholesale Retail Sector
To be considered for this role you are required to have 2-3 years previous experience working in the wholesale retail customer service environment.
Up to £32,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

One to One Personnel is proud to be working with our global brand client who is looking to hire a Customer Service & Operations Assistant to join their team at their head offices based in Watford.
Experience/Skills required
* Relevant Wholesale Retail industry experience – preferably 2-3 years
* Ideally have worked with known retailers, Next, Debenhams, JD Sports, etc
* Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and be a team player
* Highly competent IT skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Would be able to pick up using the company ERP system quickly
* Paying attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
* Strong time management and communication skills
* Strong proactive work ethic
* Self-starter and solution-oriented and able to manage own workload
* Willingness to learn
Roles and Responsibilities
* Follow up and track customer Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely processing
* Send POs to factories and sales order confirmations (SOCs) to customers
* Communicate and resolve any queries on orders with customers and factories
* Upload styles, sales orders (SOs), and POs in the ERP system and continue to maintain
* Perform housekeeping tasks in the ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date data
* Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipments and deliveries
* Monitor delivery schedules and update customers on any delays or issues
* Provide barcodes and packing and shipping instructions to factories
* Process stock into inventory, allocate orders, raise picking tickets and invoices
* Send weekly order books to the customers and chase them for booking
* Provide customers with requested data
* Process customer booking forms and communicate delivery schedule with warehouses
* Access and maintain customer data base and portals where appropriate
* Advise customers on order status, delivery delays, and any related issues
* Address queries from credit control and finance departments
* Ensure accurate and efficient reporting throughout each sales season
* Work with factories and shipping departments on salesman samples
* Support the Operations team and sales team with ad-hoc tasks related to sales and purchase orders
* Assist with any additional tasks related to customer order management, sales support, and internal operations
