Laboratory Operations Administrator (Cancer Tools)
£27,000 – £33,000 plus benefits. 6‑month Fixed‑Term Contract, full‑time (35 h per week). Full‑time, on‑site at Kent Discovery Park, Sandwich, Kent. Closing date 26 Oct 2025.
Reports to
Operations Manager, Research & Innovation.
Key responsibilities
* Facilitate day‑to‑day shipping of inbound and outbound orders to customers and partners.
* Process sales orders and invoices, set up customers and suppliers, support KPI progression and reporting.
* Support the laboratory operations team in vendor set‑up and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Work closely with Group Accounting and Accounts Payable.
* Act as first‑level triage for the customer services inbox and communicate with stakeholders to resolve enquiries.
* Assist the Operations Manager with team meeting preparation, agenda setting, minutes taking and circulation of action items.
Required skills & qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑focused logistics or sales organisation.
* Able to challenge practices to improve standards and processes.
* Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to build working relationships.
* Excellent prioritisation, time‑management and multi‑tasking under pressure.
* Collaboration and team‑working skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
