Our Nurse Bank Team provides an efficient, high quality, and professional service across Hywel Dda Health Board. The team plays a vital role in supporting clinical areas by liaising with bank and agency workers, ward staff, and agency suppliers via phone and email to ensure safe staffing levels are maintained.
This is a fast-paced and varied role, perfect for someone who enjoys problem solving and thrives in a busy environment. Strong IT skills are essential, alongside the ability to prioritise tasks and respond quickly to changing demands.

Main duties of the job
In this role, you will:
Support workforce coordination: Help ensure safe staffing levels across the Health Board by arranging bank shifts for Nurses and Healthcare Support Workers, matching availability with service needs, using a live booking system.
Manage data and reporting: Prepare and coordinate reports by gathering and presenting information from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and meeting agreed deadlines.
Ensure accurate payments: Check and validate worker timesheets and agency invoices against the electronic bank system, helping maintain accurate and timely pay processes.
Provide system support and training: Assist staff with using Bank Staff systems and Employee Online, offering guidance and resolving queries in a helpful, customer-focused way.
Maintain professional records: Keep Nursing registration details up to date, including monitoring NMC registrations and sending reminders where required.
Resolve queries collaboratively: Work closely with bank administration teams, E-Rostering, and Payroll to investigate and resolve pay queries efficiently.
Deliver excellent customer service: Respond to enquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all staff using the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Good standard of education (5 GCSE's at A-C including Maths and English)
