We are seeking a organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our small family business team. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience and administrative skills, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role requires proficiency in various computer applications and excellent phone etiquette, making it crucial for maintaining effective communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
* Manage and organise files, documents, and records for easy access
* Handle incoming calls and e-mail correspondence with professionalism and courtesy
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Powered applications for job booking management
* Assist in bookkeeping tasks using Xero as needed
* Maintain an organised workspace to promote productivity
* Support team members with clerical duties as required
Qualifications
* Previous office or administrative experience required
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office essential
* Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
* Experience with Xero is a plus
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
