Requirement: PPM Maintenance Electrician (CompEx 1-4)

Salary & Package: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Van + Bens
We are seeking an experienced PPM Maintenance Electrician with CompEx certification to join our clients team supporting critical fuel asset operations. This is a key role within a safety-focused environment where your skills in preventative maintenance and hazardous area electrical work will ensure the reliability and safety of essential equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment within a fuel asset facility.
Conduct inspections, testing, fault finding, and repairs on electrical installations in hazardous areas.
Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and ATEX regulations.
Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports using company CMMS/CAFM software.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maintain asset integrity.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental policies on site
Requirements:
CompEx certified (minimum Ex01–Ex04 modules) with up-to-date certification.
Proven experience as a maintenance electrician working within fuel, oil & gas, or petrochemical assets.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, lighting, and instrumentation.
Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and working to maintenance schedules.
Full UK/EU electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and 18th Edition wiring regulations.
Ability to work safely in hazardous environments following ATEX/DSEAR guidelines.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
