You'll be working across two of our state-of-the-art extra care schemes in Aberdare and Pontypridd.

The Opportunity

You'll be working across two of our state-of-the-art extra care schemes in Aberdare and Pontypridd.
What We Need From You
* Communication skills – you'll be working closely with the Area Chef, assistant chefs, a team of food service assistants and our tenants; they love to chat, so we need you to be approachable and friendly too.
* Qualifications & experience - you'll need some qualifications for this role, these includes NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation / Catering (or equivalent), and Food Hygiene Level 2. We offer lots of training and support, we even have a training team who are dedicated to provide you with all the tools you need to succeed. We are also looking for someone who has at least 2 years experience of working in a kitchen environment
* Organisational skills – you'll support with menu plans, stock control, complete HACCP documents, adhere to Food Hygiene regulations and work to the budget. So, we need someone who has a good understanding of the day to day running of a kitchen, as well as the ability to cook delicious & nutritious meals.
* Flexibility – We are looking for someone who has flexibility to work across both our sites with occasional short notice changes to rotas to accommodate holidays, sickness & training. Both our schemes are conveniently located near to public transport links
