About the Role
The post holder oversees the management of the database system that supports the maintenance and growth of engagement with one of Queen Mary’s largest stakeholder audiences, our global community of over 240,000 alumni. The role ensures legislative compliance of data records, purposeful analysis of trends and data, organization and management of Regular Giving campaigns, and Prospect Research and prospect pipelines.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience managing Access ThankQ or similar CRM and relational databases used for marketing, engagement, and fundraising, gained in a charity or HE setting. The candidate should have experience in collating large data sets and presenting them effectively to colleagues, senior managers, and volunteers. Experience in project-based research, producing reports on potential donors for specific campaigns, is essential. Knowledge of information sources relevant to HE fundraising and effective interrogation techniques is required. The candidate should also have experience and knowledge of best practices in researching high-value prospective donors, including detailed information on high-net-worth individuals, companies, and charitable trusts. Additionally, a working knowledge of the functioning of a Foundation registered with both the Charity Commission and Companies House, including governance, banking, and fund dispersal, is necessary. A detailed understanding of GDPR, PECR/e-Privacy Regulation, and the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts is also required.
