About the role You’ll primarily support young adults aged 18-24 in the community, with some work involving under-18s. This role includes Managing a caseload of young adults using alcohol and/or drugs across Sefton. Conducting assessments, care planning, and delivering 11 psychosocial and digital interventions. Facilitating group work, outreach, and community events. Providing harm reduction advice and brief interventions. Working in partnership with agencies, attending safeguarding meetings, and delivering training. Excellent engagement and partnership skills. Strong knowledge of safeguarding for children, young people and adults. About You Utilise your expertise in working with young individuals to create a meaningful difference. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the present-day challenges encountered by this specific demographic. Show empathy and understanding towards issues revolving around drug and alcohol use. Excel in cultivating robust and supportive professional connections. Leverage your experience in fostering strong collaborations with both internal and external partners. Your knowledge and hands-on experience in working with young individuals who engage in substance use will be invaluable.
