Applications are invited for the position of PA Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs’ Surgeon at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH). This is a new post based in the Department of Dermatology, Churchill Hospital, Oxford.
Located within Thames Valley, Oxford’s dermatology service is a recognised centre of excellence, with the region experiencing one of the highest incidences of skin cancer in the UK. The department boasts state-of-the-art surgical, diagnostic, and laboratory facilities in a purpose-built unit, with plans for further investment to meet increasing demand. We seek a colleague who will enjoy working and teaching in this inspiring environment and who is eager to develop services across the region.
Main Duties of the Job
The post-holder will dedicate most of their time to clinical activities directly related to Dermatology. The total NHS workload is specified in PAs per week. Duties will be based at the Department of Dermatology, Churchill Hospital, Oxford, with some clinical activities possibly requiring outreach clinics at other locations within the Trust. The role may also involve collaboration with or supervision of intermediate dermatology services. Maintaining excellent links with primary care at both personal and administrative levels is essential.
