Salary: Up to £28,000 basic plus excellent bonus structure and benefits.
We are recruiting for a deputy store manager for a fashion retailer based in Ilkley. The company is experiencing a period of growth and opening new branches. Internationally recognised for many years, they are focused on quality, good design and sustainability. Product knowledge and fantastic customer service are paramount to this retailer. It is all about the customer journey and delivering exceptional service. You will be coaching the team to success, building customer relationships, and ensuring that operational procedures are sound.
As deputy store manager, you will be leading, training and delivering fantastic service, ensuring maximum profitability in support of the store manager. Ideally, you will have gained experience in a clothing retail environment; however, the client is open on background. You understand the need for team development, commercial awareness and driving sales. This is an exciting time to join the company as they head into a period of growth, with great opportunities to progress and receive further development and training.
Responsibilities
* Lead, train and deliver excellent service, ensuring the customer journey is exceptional.
* Coach and develop the team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Ensure operational procedures are sound and aligned with store standards.
* Support the Store Manager to maximise profitability.
Qualifications
* Ideally experience in a clothing retail environment; however, background will be considered.
* Strong people development, commercial awareness and ability to drive sales.
