This is an exciting opportunity for an up and coming café manager or experienced deputy to lead our team in a thriving Café, The Limes Tearooms, we offer customers a restaurant quality dining experience with a popular breakfast menu and lunch menu that uses the best freshly cooked, local produce. We are situated within Hildreths Garden Centre.
The General Manager will demonstrate passion for what they do through an exceptional eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed expectations.
The successful candidate will:
· Be able to communicate and liaise with the owner in all areas, to ensure the smooth running of the business.
· Enjoy delivering a great customer experience
· Be positive, engaging and able to motivate and manage the team
· Have experience of working in a similar style hospitality environment
· Have good IT skills
Your responsibilities will include:
· Managing the day-to-day operations and smooth running of the café
· Driving Sales and meeting targets & wage budgets
· Scheduling rotas
· Recruiting and training new staff
· Co-ordinating with suppliers and manage stock ordering
· Ensuring all cafe areas are clean and tidy and that hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
· Ensuring that health and safety requirements are met at all times
· Monitoring the daily finances (cashing up & cash reconciliation)
· Driving promotion of the café through social media
· Nurturing friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty
This is a full-time position and we are willing to be accommodating for the right candidate.
4/5 days per week Monday – Sunday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
