About the Role
The role is responsible for developing high-quality test content that aligns with best practice, project timelines, and the Division’s vision and values. This includes working with writers to ensure content is pedagogically effective, overseeing editing and copy-editing for accuracy and clarity, and briefing other departments to deliver appropriate solutions. The postholder supports research activities to ensure tests meet market needs and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes and workflows.
You will manage project schedules across teams, coordinate delivery to agreed dates, and provide input to marketing colleagues on messaging and promotional campaigns. Overall, the role combines content development, editorial oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and market-focused research to ensure English language assessments are competitive and effective.

About You
Essential:
1. EFL teaching experience.
2. Experience of preparing students for EFL exams.
3. Understanding of educational teaching and learning requirements.
4. Awareness of the principles of assessment.
5. Able to work with diverse teams and cross-functionally.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Able to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
8. Problem-solving.
Desirable:
9. Experience as an EFL/ESL examiner/assessor/rater.
10. Experience developing assessment content.
11. Experience of developing content for certificated assessment products.
12. Knowledge and experience of statistical analysis.
13. An understanding of best practice test development processes and process improvement.
14. A recognized English Language teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, DELTA or equivalent).
15. Master’s in Applied Linguistics, ELT or Assessment/Testing.
