AAT STUDENT MENTOR - FULL TIME PERMANENT
If you are AAT level 4 or above had you thought about using your qualifications and practical accounting knowledge to support AAT Students?
You would be working for an AAT Approved Training Centre with an impressive track record in training the next generation of AAT professionals.
It is a permanent, full time job and you'd be paid a starting salary of £35,000 whilst you train.
You would be allocated a mentor who would guide and support you in all aspects of what it takes to become a highly effective, professional AAT Tutor.
Your first step would be to become an AAT Student Mentor and support a small caseload of AAT students with their studies, whilst at the same time you would work towards gaining your professional training qualifications.
The end goal being a qualified professional AAT Tutor.
You'd work partly remotely and partly within the training centre, having face to face interaction with your students. This will help you see how they learn and how best you need to support them.
Once qualified and competent, an excellent career path exists within accountancy training and of course you would be keeping your accountancy skills up to date because your learners need to know the latest information.
Training is delivered during core office hours and not evenings nor weekends. This isn't a role that can be conducted alongside another full time job.
What do you need to become an AAT Student Mentor?
* AAT level 4 or above
* A sound track record within accountancy. You need to not only understand the theory but how it relates to the real world too.
* You will go through a training programme so this must be seen as a long term commitment to something you wish to do with your future, not a stop gap.
* You must have excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help your students achieve their qualifications.
