Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to support their development through play. Duties
* Supervise and engage children in various play activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
* Maintain a clean and organised play environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
* Assist in the management of daily routines and transitions within the setting.
* Support children with special needs or additional requirements as necessary.
Requirements
* Level 3 recognised childcare qualification.
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children and parents.
* A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation if required to support school drop offs and pick ups.
