Service Manager - Mental Health

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum
TRC is working with a young and ambitious company that, within its first 2 years of operating, has positively impacted the lives of 16+ adults with Autism, mental health and learning disabilities living in their own homes.
They are continuing the excellent work with a client based in Ipswich. We are searching for an organised individual with excellent knowledge of all of the above conditions and great people skills. You would be responsible for 1 person's package of care.
This is a work-from-home position but will require one shift per week in the client's home.
The Role:
* Recruitment, retention, and engagement of your staff team(s)
* Leading the continuous professional development of your teams
* Undertaking regular quality supervisions, appraisals, debriefs, team meetings
* Undertaking regular staff observations (positive monitoring) and competency assessments managing staffing matters, including performance and capability in accordance with the company
* Care's hr policies and advised processes
* Managing rota's and time sheets for the service in line with procedure
* Complete a minimum of 12 hours per week directly supporting the individual
* Identifying and developing talent for succession planning
* Undertake senior support worker, team leader and support worker duties where applicable.
* Cover shifts where there is a shortfall within the rota and no cover can be found
* Be part of the company on call system out of normal operating hours
* Liaising with the responsible housing provider for repairs and maintenance
* Leading on health and safety responsibilities as determined by the partnership with the housing provider (fire alarm checks etc.)
The role is working from home for the majority of the week however to maintain contact with the client and their family, the manager is required to include one 12 hour shift per week into the rota.
