We are currently looking for an Overhead Crane Engineer with a strong electrical background to join our team and help us continue to provide our clients with high-quality services. Responsibilities:
* Install, repair, and maintain overhead cranes and associated equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in overhead cranes and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
* Conduct electrical inspections and tests on overhead cranes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
* Provide on-site technical support and advice to clients and colleagues as required.
* Complete installs of new, innovative technology to client cranes
* Comply with health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
* Experience as an Overhead Crane Engineer or in a similar role within the crane engineering industry, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components used in overhead cranes, including PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
* Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and guidelines, including LOLER and PUWER.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A valid driver's license is essential.
