The role As Head of Digital PR Strategy, you’ll lead the Planning team and act as the strategic anchor — bringing clarity, rigour, and commercial sharpness to everything the agency delivers. From always-on activity to campaign planning, you’ll shape channel strategies that drive results, while mentoring and managing two direct reports. What you’ll be doing * Lead strategy across digital PR, SEO, social media, influencer marketing and LLMs, working with senior leadership to push the agency proposition forward * Act as senior client lead for SEO-only accounts, while overseeing the Planning team’s delivery and performance * Mentor Senior Strategists and freelance partners, ensuring the best ideas rise to the top * Oversee and contribute to annual and quarterly planning for retained clients, setting KPIs and course-correcting when needed * Work with strategists to deliver full-funnel audits and roadmaps for new clients * Translate market and audience insights into campaign strategies * Deliver elements of SEO deliverables or Audience Audits What we’re looking for * Agency experience: Proven senior-level background within digital PR, marketing, or content agencies. * Strategic channel planner: Senior-level experience in digital PR, SEO, and social media (organic and paid), with the ability to shape integrated strategies across owned and earned channels. * SEO expertise: A solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and how they connect to wider digital PR and content strategies. * Project leadership & client service: Strong skills in managing multiple accounts and complex workstreams, with the ability to keep projects on track while building trusted client relationships. * Team leadership: Experience managing and developing direct reports. * Analytical edge: Confident in translating data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations. * Technical know-how: Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and social ads managers.
