With a strong commitment to our people and culture, we are now seeking an experienced People & HR Operations Manager to join our team on a part-time basis.This is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to lead and deliver our people strategy while ensuring HR operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our growth plans. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of all HR functions across the group, while supporting the development of our culture, values, and management capability.Key Details Part-Time (Approx. 18 Hours per Week) Cannock Head Office Based Flexible hours can be discussed to suit both business and candidate needsCore ResponsibilitiesPeople Strategy & CultureDesign and implement a clear and practical HR strategy that aligns with the group’s overall goalsLead on defining and embedding company culture, values, and behaviours, ensuring consistency across teams and locationsTake ownership of team engagement initiatives, including internal events, recognition schemes, and company-wide communicationsAct as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related mattersHR Operations & PolicyDevelop, maintain, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment law and best practiceOversee the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, induction, performance reviews, absence management, and exitsManage the business’s HR system (e.g. BambooHR), ensuring records are accurate and easily accessibleGenerate and interpret HR reports and data to support decision-making at senior levelTraining & Management DevelopmentDeliver training and coaching to managers to build strong people management capability across the businessEnsure managers are equipped to confidently lead their teams and are held accountable for team performance, conduct, and developmentCreate and implement management development programmes and leadership frameworks where neededCompliance & Best PracticeEnsure the business remains fully compliant with all UK employment law and regulatory requirementsProvide guidance on employee relations matters, handling any issues with sensitivity, professionalism, and legal understandingStay up to date with employment legislation and HR trends, ensuring policies and practices remain current and relevantWhat We’re Looking ForCIPD Level 5 (or higher) or equivalent professional qualificationA minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a service-led, multi-site environmentDemonstrated experience in developing HR policies, managing the full employee lifecycle, and supporting cultural changeConfident in training and supporting managers at all levelsStrong working knowledge of UK employment lawHighly organised, with excellent attention to detail and communication skillsAble to work autonomously while being an integral part of the wider leadership teamWhat We OfferA flexible part-time position with responsibility and influenceThe opportunity to shape and lead the HR function in a fast-growing businessA positive, collaborative culture that genuinely values its peopleOffice-based role in Cannock Head Office, with flexibility on working patternIf you are a hands-on, experienced HR professional looking for a flexible, senior part-time role within a forward-thinking business, we welcome your application.
